DESCRIPTION: This course will cover some easily accessible and effective pressure points on the body to quickly control, and neutralize attacks. Taught mostly to just the highest ranked students in a dojo, this is your opportunity to learn some of the most effective points on the human body to overpower larger and more skilled opponents. The course combines lecture, discussion, demonstration, hands-on performance of techniques in a concise and practical manner.
IMPORTANT: Students are required to ensure their nails are cut prior to attending course. Students with long nails will be required to cut them prior to training or will be removed from training without refund.
This seminar teaches some basic fighting applications and techniques with the use of pressure points. Simple Joint Locks will be demonstrated with various pressure points to show how simple applications can enhance techniques.

Stunning - "the stimulation of overwhelming sensory input that is sudden, intense and unexpected." Most stuns last approximately 3 - 7 seconds, enough time to effect an alternate control technique. |

Motor Dysfunction -temporary muscular impairments caused by strikes |
Although only a small sampling of techniques from the entire system will
be taught, this seminar is an excellent introduction to Kyoshojutsu.
State-of-the-art training is conducted in a safe classroom environment. Hypothetical situations are discussed in detail.
