Loss Prevention Officer Principles and Practices (1) Basic This 8 hour course is designed to introduce students to the principles of loss prevention. The course will cover dress and deportment, prohibited activities of investigators, sections of the criminal code, 5 elements necessary for an arrest, Recovery of product without arrest and deterrence methods, rules of evidence, external theft methods, and court testimony.
	Loss Prevention Officer Principles and Practices (2) Intermediate This 36 hour course is designed to introduce students to the principles of loss prevention. The course will cover dress and deportment, principles of retail theft, prohibited activities of investigators, sections of the criminal code, 5 elements necessary for an arrest, Recovery of product without arrest and deterrence methods, rules of evidence, external theft methods, and court testimony. Students will be put through 8 hours of physical control techniques and officer safety training, as well as report writing skills. Role plays for confrontations will be conducted to aid the students in dealing with potentially violent situations. Also available as a 24 hour course update to the 8 hour LSSTG – Loss Prevention – Loss Prevention Officer Principles and Practices (1) Basic
	Loss Prevention Officer Principles and Practices (3) Advanced This 60 hour course is designed to introduce students to the principles of loss prevention both in and out of uniform.. The course will cover dress and deportment, principles of retail theft, prohibited activities of investigators, sections of the criminal code, 5 elements necessary for an arrest, Recovery of product without arrest and deterrence methods, rules of evidence, external theft methods, and court testimony. Methods for Internal and external investigations will be explored in depth as well as many scenarios that any retail investigator may encounter. Students will be put through 8 hours of physical control techniques and officer safety training, as well as report writing skills. Role plays for confrontations will be conducted to aid the students in dealing with potentially violent situations, as well as dynamic simulations. Also available as a 52 hour course update to the 8 hour LSSTG – Loss Prevention – Loss Prevention Officer Principles and Practices (1) Basic or 24 hour update to the 24 hour LSSTG – Loss Prevention – Loss Prevention Officer Principles and Practices (2) Intermediate
	Uniformed Loss Prevention Principles and Practices This 8 hour course is designed to introduce students to the unique principles of Uniformed Loss Prevention. The course will cover dress and deportment, importance of high visibility, patrol methods, principles of retail theft, prohibited activities of security guards, sections of the criminal code, 5 elements necessary for an arrest, Recovery of product without arrest and deterrence methods, rules of evidence, external theft methods, and court testimony.
